Requiem for a Spy Ship

What do you with a spy ship past its prime? The Wall Street Journal has a piece on how the Navy is trying to find someone to take an experimental stealth ship and a barge that was used by the CIA in the legendary Project  Jennifer. This was the wacky Agency plot back in 1974 to raise a sunken Soviet nuclear missile sub two miles down on the Pacific floor.

Exactly what we got for our tax dollars (and we spent a lot of them) is still shrouded in secrecy, but apparently they did recover some nuclear-tipped torpedoes – and some dead Russian sailors.
